Gearing up for the Frenzy!
I have long wanted to try my hand at screen/play writing, and April will be spent doing so with thousands of other people around the world. I will be embarking on the challenge of writing 100 pages of my own original work in 30 days! It will be difficult, as I'll be starting a new position at my job, and my schedule will be full. But, I've been inspired by my friend Natalie's own personal challenge, so I know I can do this!
The great thing about Script Frenzy is the collective support of those embarking on the same challenge, as well as the support I've already gotten from friends for simply making the commitment, and the resources provided by experienced professionals in the field. This month will be spent outlining story and developing characters, and next month I'll be spending every free moment writing.
Of the many things I hope to gain from this, besides a finished first draft of a script, is a whole new level of knowledge of the art of storytelling, which will also feed me creatively and technically as an actor, and a sense of artistic accomplishment.
I'm really looking forward to April!

I think this is a wonderful tool for motivation, discipline, and energy. I have done my best work when buckling down and jamming on it for a month - after thirty days, the "pump has been primed" and the darn thing starts to write itself.
Cheers!!!
