Merely Players

So with circumstances preventing me from pursuing my acting career in what has been too long for me, when my friend Katherine Harte DeCoux approached me about doing a night of monologues, sonnets, and scenes from Shakespeare, I enthusiastically jumped on board! Then Kate called me and asked me to do the Richard/ Lady Anne scene from Richard III. Richard has been a role I've dreamed of doing, but never felt I was actually up to. Still, I agreed to do it and have very much enjoyed working with her. It's a difficult scene, and I'll not know if I've failed or succeeded with it until we perform it this Sunday, Novemeber 1st and again next Sunday, November 8th. But, I'm having a good time and, Kate is wonderful and great to work with, and it promises to be a great night of Shakespeare.
So come on down to the People Lounge at 163 Allen Street, New York at 7pm on November 1st and 8th. $10 cover and drink specials to boot!
